After finishing a graduate degree, I moved back to my hometown, which is only half an hour from Denver, but that’s a rather unmanageable distance without a car or public transportation. I work in a coffee shop (in the same space, now occupied by a different company, as where I worked in high school…), thankfully something I enjoy, so am severely “underemployed,” and I echo your sentiment that the lack of financial and personal stability provided by a good job kinda kills a social/dating life. At least it gives me time to get some quality reading done. Be hoping for the best for you!
