But thank you so much for sharing the rest. When you closed with ” I do not feel overqualified, yet. I feel inadequate” — it pulled on my own heart strings a little. I resonate with that statement a great deal. I ask you this though….do you believe that in todays world the idea of “overqualified” is actually one that is a tad overrated. What does that mean anymore? We are all stuck in a very different economic landscape than we were before the recession. Overqualified is more often under-employed now too. And I would rather hire an over qualified looking for a great place to call home than someone underqualified all together. Even if it means I have to pay a little more have this person on my team. And you seem like someone who would be worth BOTH the immediate acceptance and the extra cash. So call yourself what you will…I think you are pretty great regardless.
