When you know that an archive for a certain day is not available, for example if Monday is not available becuase court was not in session or if there was a technical problem, why is that on Wednesday you still show it in the archive as a clickable link? If it brings the user to a web page that takes a very long time to load and says something like “Court is Offline,” what’s the point?

The reason for the question is becuase the web site is actually very slow, and if the coverage is not available – as is quite often the case – it wastes your site visitors’ time and consumes your own bandwidth unnecessarily.

What are your thoughts on this?
