On Monday, December 5, OpenCourt will be hosting a cooperative coverage day event at Quincy District Court to capture the breadth of everything that occurs there in one day.

Would you care to join?

We are coordinating a group of interested journalists (citizen or professional) to take timestamped notes on every proceeding in every courtroom that day. We aim to have at least one person assigned in each courtroom throughout the entire business day.

A time commitment of a full day is ideal, but contributors can donate any amount of time at the court.

Afterwards, we’ll conglomerate notes and publish stories about cases in an effort to shed more light on what types of hearings and how many cases the court handles on a daily basis.
