A replica of a Viking-era woman's dress and slip on display at the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen. These recreated articles were based in part on cloth fragments found in a Danish grave. The original outfit was blue wool, dyed with indigo. It was held up with shoulder straps secured with bowl-shaped brooches. The slip was fabricated from bleached linen.
