Around the world, where governments don't function, humanitarian organizations feed the hungry and heal the sick. The 1999 Nobel Peace Prize winning Doctors Without Borders, or Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), is one such group. Their medical staff serve victims of war and poverty, working under dangerous conditions. It would be easy to romanticize their work, but the reality can be much different.
