How do you provision? Please circle one: A) I *heart* Whole Foods!  B) Stop & Shop, Shaw’s, Trader Joe’s;  C) Bartering, squat-farming and dumpster diving.

All those who answered A) should stop reading now. But the rest of you, whip out those blackberries, palm pilots or good ol’ fashioned calendars and reserve Thursday, June 24, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, for the next PRK Meet-Up, “Slow Food on No Dough.”

Join Slow Food Boston and Public Radio Kitchen here at WBUR for a talk by Amy McCoy, the blogger behind Poor Girl Gourmet and author of the new book, Poor Girl Gourmet: Eat in Style on a Bare-bones Budget. In keeping with our super-thrifty theme, you’ll be providing your own eats, potluck stylie, with very special prizes to be awarded to the tastiest and cheapest dishes (categories to be announced next week). We only have space for 60, so email us right away at prk@wbur.org to get in on the foodie fun. Attendance is $5 per person, proceeds to be donated to Slow Food Boston.

RSVP ASAP to join Amy McCoy, Jessica Alpert, the gang of Kitchen interns (Susanna Bolle, Alexandra DiModica, Mike Fubini and Donna Kirk) and, of course, ourselves on June 24th for Slow Food on No Dough.

We’ve got a smiley face nametag waiting here for you!

Hi —I did receive notification that I was on the list for Thursday’s event, but did not get any more details as to how the pot luck was going to work other than what was described above.

    Thanks –Joanne
